Allerdale Disability Association is a user-led organisation providing a range of quality services to people with disabilities across Allerdale and the West Coast. We exist to support local disabled people, their families and carers, and as a not-for-profit charity all our funds are spent on supporting people in our community.

Allerdale Disability Association, commonly known as ADA, was formed in 1976 by local people who campaigned for better access and services for disabled people, and became a registered charity in 1980.

We are an independent charity delivering all our services free of charge, and without the continued support of local people and funders we wouldn’t be able to provide the services we do. Thank-you.
